Internship Description

The Diversity in Conservation Internship Program (DCIP) seeks to engage college students and recent graduates from underrepresented communities, in conservation careers. Conservation Trust for North Carolina (CTNC) launched the program in 2008 and since then has connected 118 interns to land trusts, government agencies, universities, and nonprofit organizations across North Carolina. The Conservation Trust for North Carolina (CTNC) and its partners introduce young adults of color to careers in conservation and connect conservation organizations to potential employees. Interns also learn about the history of race and land in America.
